Are you ready to set up your own website or blog and not sure where to start?  In this session, I will introduce you to Wordpress and we will all walk through setting up a basic Wordpress site together.

We will start with some strategic decisions about what you want your site to be, then we’ll cover setting up a domain, getting web hosting, and installing Wordpress. We’ll choose and install a theme, create pages and posts, install a plugin, and even tweak some of the theme’s CSS to show how you can customize your site further. Time permitting, we’ll also delve into some troubleshooting techniques to give non-coders a head start at understanding code.
